Cost Of Studying

Ireland is an affordable destination for higher education. Tuition fee and living expenses are less compared to the USA. The tuition fee will depend on the type of institution, subject and level of study. Living expenses also vary greatly between different universities and locations.

Prerequisites/Student compliance

International students can opt for medium of instruction in English in order to apply for university studies in Ireland.(Irish is not mandatory). All International students applying to Ireland must have a prescribed score in any one of the English proficiency tests like IELTS,TOEFL & PTE.

GRE exam is not mandatory, however some Universities will give preference to students who have secured a good GRE score. Most of the B schools will prefer International students with good GMAT score.

Most of the universities/institutions/colleges in Ireland will have their intakes in September and few Universities offer Feb Intake also.

Visa Requirements

International students applying for a student visa to Ireland have to apply at least a few months in advance before travelling.(2-3 Months). Two types of student visas are provided by the Ireland Government depending on the duration of course chosen by the student.

International students who want to pursue their studies in Ireland for less than 3 months are required to apply for a short stay visa or a ‘C study visa’. International students who want to pursue their studies in Ireland for more than 3 months are required to apply for a long stay visa or ‘D study visa.
